Job Summary

As a Sales Lead Qualifier at AZA Finance, you will play a critical role in identifying and qualifying leads to drive business growth and revenue generation. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for actively engaging with leads, assessing their suitability, and nurturing relationships to facilitate the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Actively qualify leads generated by the marketing team against internal criteria and KPIs to determine their potential as viable prospects.
  • Respond to all inbound leads promptly, assess their alignment with pre-established criteria, and prioritize follow-up actions accordingly.
  • Initiate contact with leads via calls, texts, or emails in a timely manner, maintaining persistent communication to nurture relationships and drive conversions.
  • Liaise with the sales team to evaluate and validate leads, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and strategies.
  • Generate referrals from existing clients and other sources to expand the lead pipeline and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound calling campaigns to follow up on older leads, inform them of new products or services, and gather relevant market data and qualifiers.
  • Enter and maintain accurate lead data in the CRM system, ensuring the integrity and completeness of lead information.
  • Nurture unqualified leads to keep them engaged in the sales cycle, providing ongoing support and information to guide them through the application process.
  • Provide sufficient follow-up via phone and email to address inquiries, overcome objections, and maintain momentum in the sales process.
  • Understand customer business issues and demonstrate how AZA Finance's services can address their needs effectively.
  • Design, develop, and improve nurture campaigns aimed at converting inactive customers or re-engaging lost leads, utilizing creative and modern techniques.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers at prospective clients, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the lead qualification and acquisition process.
  • Develop and follow quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans with specific, measurable goals, and create reports to present lead data and trends for the marketing team.
  • Market Analysis and Customer Segmentation :
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and customer segmentation for the region to identify target markets and refine lead generation strategies.

Requirements

  • Bilingual with written and verbal communication in English and French . Local languages like wolof, etc are an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or customer relationship management, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build rapport effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
